Interest rate calculator

Interest rates can be debit or credit interest rates. Debit or passive interest is paid by customers on sums of money that they have borrowed from banks. Credit or active interest is paid to customers on the money they have deposited on their accounts.

This calculator estimates active interest rates and, based on an initial deposit and any additional regular deposits, lets you work out the yield on a potential investment for various lengths of time.

You can estimate the expected yield if you regularly pay in a certain amount: you can also understand how capitalization increases the value of your investment.

In our simulations, the additional amounts are considered as being paid in at the end of the month or the year, depending on how often you pay money in.
