1. Financial Planning

2. Electronic Payment Instruments

3. Current Accounts, Home banking and Cyber Security

4. Borrowing Wisely

5. The ABC of investments

Module 1: Financial Planning

modulo-1

Welcome to the first module of a brief financial education course aimed at women. While financial knowledge levels are generally low in Italy compared with other countries, women in particular score lower than men... it's time to make up for it!

You may also find it useful to learn about 'behavioural traps', or cognitive biases: unconscious decision-making processes that affect how all of us think and interpret and use information, causing us to make mistakes. At the end of each module we will recommend a video that will warn you against a 'trap'. The first is called 'The present bias'.

Module 2: Electronic Payment Instruments

modulo-2

Welcome to the second module of a brief financial education course aimed at women. There are so many new cashless payment instruments that can be used both online and in store. Let's find out more about them!

Starting in 2025, new regulations on credit transfer will enter into force. Take a look at the script that talks about the differences and learn more about it here.

The second video on behavioural traps is called Mental accounting.

Module 3: Current Accounts, Home banking and Cyber Security

modulo-3

Welcome to the third module of a brief financial education course aimed at women. Here you will learn about current accounts and how to access home banking, as well as tips for safe online browsing and how to avoid scams.

The third video on 'behavioural traps' (you can find more videos on our website) is 'The Endowment effect'

Modulo 4: Borrowing Wisely

modulo-4

Welcome to the fourth module of a brief financial education course aimed at women.  Here you will learn about mortgages, about the different types of consumer credit and the precautions you need to take before and after signing a loan contract. Finally, we will provide some useful information on the Central Credit Register.

Modulo 5: The ABC of investments

Modulo-5

Here you can find essential information on how to protect your savings from inflation, how to choose among various investment instruments and how to build your own portfolio.
