Publications and data

For many years now, the Bank of Italy has organized financial education initiatives. These are the natural counterpoint to the Bank's institutional tasks in the field of consumer protection, as well as to the many other activities that enhance financial culture and the economic and financial well-being of both individuals and society at large.

We act on three different planes: analysis and study activities, initiatives targeting students and initiatives for adults. We contribute to national projects organized by the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities and, thanks to our participation in international fora (such as the OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), we help to draw up principles and guidelines for financial education initiatives.
