Behavioural traps

When making financial decisions, it's easy to fall into behavioural traps.

What are they? They are mistakes in judgement, caused by the decision-making processes that shape our behaviour. Biases affect how we think, how we interpret information, and how we use it.

The video series on behavioural biases consists of eight short videos - one introductory and seven thematic - each exploring a common type of bias: present bias, mental accounting, naive diversification, framing effects, overconfidence, representativeness, and the endowment effect.

The series was developed in collaboration with Ca' Foscari University of Venice, involving both students and academics. After a brief theoretical introduction, each video offers practical examples and presents real-life experiments conducted with students and members of the general public.
