Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano
Banca d'Italia, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, has developed free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) accessible to everyone. These courses are specifically designed for upper secondary school teachers and include videos, in-depth materials, and quizzes to help understand and explore key topics relevant to teaching financial education.
Money and payments
This course, structured into four short lessons, explains the technological features, benefits, costs, and risks of payment instruments, with a particular focus on fraud-related risks. Each lesson is accompanied by quizzes and exercises, complete with solutions and explanations, to help guide students through the learning process.

The green transition economy
This course, consisting of six short lessons, explores the causes and economic effects of climate change, the policies for mitigation and adaptation, the role of the financial system, and even the small everyday actions individuals can take to support the transition. The MOOC includes videos, self-assessment quizzes, exercises, and additional materials.
