A 'quality label' for financial, insurance and pension education initiatives
The Edufin Committee's recognition process is now underway
To help people identify high-quality financial, insurance and pension education initiatives, the Committee on the planning and coordination of financial education activities (the Edufin Committee), of which Banca d'Italia is a member, selects programmes that meet specific standards. These include being free of charge, easily accessible and transparent in managing any potential conflicts of interest.
Public and private entities - including those working in partnership - may apply to take part in the recognition process and receive a quality label. Eligible initiatives must be non-commercial and comply with the requirements set out in the Guidelines for the recognition of financial education initiatives (also known as the Blue Handbook).
Organisations whose proposals are awarded the Edufin Committee's quality label will be allowed to display it in their promotional materials and communication campaigns.
To apply for the quality label, you must use the application form available on the Committee's website.
Look for the quality label when choosing which financial education initiatives to take part in!
