Financial literacy workshops

Through its network of local branches, Banca d'Italia offers playful and educational financial literacy workshops to students at all school levels. These workshops aim to raise awareness among young people and encourage peer-to-peer discussion on topics that will be important for their future.

For primary and lower secondary school, the workshop 'The Imaginary Friend' engages students in a collaborative game where the goal is to help an imaginary friend manage their monthly expenses. Through the activity, students learn to distinguish between types of expenses and understand the importance of saving for personal well-being.

For lower and upper secondary school, the 'Kahoot!' workshops involve students in a scored quiz competition where they challenge each other on key financial literacy topics essential for understanding the modern world.
