Global Money Week

Global Money Week is an international initiative promoted by the OECD and dedicated to young people starting from pre-school age. Since its launch in 2012, it has reached over 60 million children and young people in 176 countries.

The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness among young people about the importance of acquiring the skills necessary to make responsible and informed financial decisions.

Since 2021, the Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities has been responsible for coordinating Global Money Week in Italy.

Each edition of Global Money Week focuses on a different theme, around which free financial education initiatives and events are organised for young people.

Banca d'Italia takes part in this initiative by offering seminars, meetings, and educational workshops aimed at younger audiences through its regional branches.

You can explore our seminars by visiting the initiative's calendar on the Committee's website.

Visit the official website of the initiative to find information about the upcoming edition of Global Money Week.
